Location: Rakh Canal Plant, Faisalabad

Workplace Type: On Site

This role will be responsible for developing, directing, and providing leadership for the implementation and continuous improvement of the plant's analytical quality systems, processes, and records. This role also ensures compliance with regulatory and customer requirements and collaborates with the site management team to make these systems practical and cost-effective.

As Quality Control Lead, you will use technical expertise, knowledge of the corn wet milling business, and an understanding of company goals to work with Operations, Quality Assurance, and customers to assure product quality. In this role, you will report to the Plant Quality Assurance Manager and oversee a team of 5.

• Quality & Data Analysis – Lead the QC team to produce precise, accurate, and timely test and calibration data. Maintain accurate quality records and monitor the Corn Refiner Association program check sample program for the facility. Ensure timely non-routine testing, including outside lab testing, and maintain reports.
• Innovation and Development – Conduct Out of Specification investigations, maintain records, monitor OOS trends, and drive continuous improvements. Apply scientific methodology, root cause analysis, and statistical tools to support process improvements. Develop and review QC procedures periodically.
• Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication – Work with operations and quality assurance to understand laboratory service demands. Ensure timely and proper product release based on sampling and testing. Keep SAP data updated and communicate trends to management. Effectively influence change through good communication.
• Training & Development – Provide training and technical support to lab staff on analytical equipment and methodologies. Develop analytical skills of lab employees to ensure QC program compliance.

• Bachelor's & Master's in Chemistry, Food Technology
• 8 years' experience in Food or Pharma industry, with chemical laboratory expertise
• Exceptional communication skills

• Well-organized, detail-oriented, with strong leadership skills in a dynamic environment
• Proactive, creative, and driven to succeed
• Analytical problem-solver familiar with good laboratory practices
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across organizational levels and foster relationships
• Leadership ability to develop the QC team using Measurement Systems Analysis and Statistical Process Control
