Job Title: Global Tax Consultant

About the Role:

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional in indirect tax to join our team. As a global tax consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on customs law and its practical application across various countries.

You will work closely with cross-border teams to combine diverse transaction experience with local tax knowledge. Your primary goal will be to help clients understand the tax policies and laws of governments around the world and plan accordingly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build a deep understanding of Customs Law and its practical application across different countries.

• Work effectively as a member of a worldwide network of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues in overseas offices to deliver VAT advice in respect of global jurisdictions.

• Prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and build strong internal relationships within the VAT practice, Indirect Tax, and across other service lines.

Requirements:

To qualify for this role, you must have a degree in economics, finance, tax, or accounting and at least two years of relevant experience as an indirect tax professional. Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred, but we will consider candidates from law firms or with relevant industry experience.
