Indus Hospital & Health Network seeks a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team.
As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring that all processes are followed in accordance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, review, and examine supporting documents as per organization policies required for vendor payments processing, preparing cheques, and making disbursements.
Collect, review, and examine per diems and travel expense claims of staff/personnel, obtain necessary approvals, prepare cheques, and make disbursements.
Deduct tax on vendor payments as per applicable Income Tax and Sales Tax laws in Pakistan and deposit them in the government treasury within the prescribed time frame.
Collect/download computerized CPRs, annex them with tax payment vouchers as supporting documents, and file prescribed tax records with the head office monthly.
Prepare vouchers (BPVs, JVs, BRVs, CPVs) in Oracle Fusion using correct account codes from the chart of accounts and cost centers aligned with the approved project budgets.
Manage tax challans, certificates, and reports on a monthly basis.
Issue petty cash upon approved requests, update petty cash and accounting records, and replenish petty cash when limits are reached.
Perform bank reconciliations, manage mobile cash disbursements, and follow up on payments collected.
Ensure no advances are issued to employees contrary to organizational policies.
Generate reports on employee advances, follow up for adjustments or settlements beyond prescribed periods.
Coordinate with internal audit representatives for resolution of audit queries.
Coordinate with provincial offices to track vouchers and cheques for signatures.
Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor or department head.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum two years' work experience in donor-funded projects or articles completed from a reputable audit firm.
- Finance Graduate degree is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
