Software Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team and contribute to the development of new and existing applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Design and Development: Create efficient database structures using optimal patterns and principles on relevant platforms (SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel), ensuring data normalization and integrity.
  • Programming and Automation: Utilize VBA in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) to automate tasks, streamline business processes, and enhance productivity.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Leverage pivot tables, complex formulas, and graphing capabilities in Excel to optimize business performance and decision-making.
  • Test Planning and Documentation: Develop comprehensive test plans and documentation to ensure smooth releases and code modifications.
  • Collaboration and Team Support: Work closely with external customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Assist team members with development activities and contribute to team success.
  • Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews to maintain best practices and adhere to established standards, ensuring high-quality software development.
  • Power Platform Development: Design and develop advanced solutions on Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) with various Power Query data sources (SQL Server, SharePoint).
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in applications programming, specifically with Access databases and VBA.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, Power Platform, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in developing solutions for automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas.
  • Ability to normalize complex data and define referential integrity in Access and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in programmatically manipulating worksheets and cell properties using VBA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to researching solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
