Procurement Operations Manager

This role oversees procurement operations for a specific region, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance. The position reports to the Deputy Director Procurement and supports the execution of procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Assist in developing and implementing centralized procurement strategies to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure adherence to established procurement policies.
  • Support negotiations and contract finalizations, promoting effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Promote ethical procurement practices and compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, monitoring cost-saving initiatives and sourcing opportunities.
  • Prepare reports for procurement performance analysis, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in vendor evaluation and feedback processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain management experience.
  • Experience in public or project-based procurement is highly beneficial.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in SAP (preferably SAP MM & FIN module) and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial and risk management practices.

This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve procurement goals, driving business success through effective resource allocation.
