Accounting Position Overview

This role focuses on managing and maintaining financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, company ledgers, invoices, payments, tax forms, records, reports, and financial statements.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Transaction Management: Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, ensure timely reconciliation of entries into the accounting system, and reconcile debits and credits.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and approve or deny payments, and manage cash flow.
  3. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements to inform business decisions.
  4. Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with local and UK laws for reporting requirements.
  5. Tax Obligations: Complete tax forms and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
">Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable institution.
  • Certification: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum two years' experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.
