Oracle Fusion Functional Financial Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Financial Consultant to implement and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules across multiple entities.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expense Management, Intercompany Accounting.

The consultant will work closely with Finance teams, implementation partners, and IT teams to effectively implement Fusion Financials modules bridging existing technology gaps.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials modules.
  2. Conducting detailed business analysis and outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for finance functions.
  3. Collecting and analyzing business requirements for Fusion Financials Implementation projects.
  4. Writing business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations.
  5. Assisting in design, development, testing, and implementation of the fusion solution.
  6. Integrating Oracle Fusion Financials with third-party applications.
  7. Providing suggestions to enhance/automate ERP applications for optimal financial performance.
  8. Identifying functional gaps and providing corrective actions.
  9. Ensuring project deliverables meet customer specifications.
  10. Providing technical expertise in building financial reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  11. Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  12. Resolving technical and operational problems in a timely fashion.
  13. Responding to stakeholder queries and concerns promptly.
  14. Working with documentation teams to develop user guides and training materials.
  15. Developing functional models, conducting benchmarking, and process analysis.
  16. Driving process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the finance function.
  17. Providing assistance in data cleansing, transformation, and data mapping activities corresponding to the migration phase of the projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in business/information analysis with a focus on Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Minimum of 2-3 End-to-End Oracle Fusion Implementation experience.
  • Must have worked on Oracle SAAS & PAAS applications and have strong integration experience.
  • Oracle Fusion Financials Certification is preferable.
  • Proven working experience as a Financials Business Analyst, proficient in Oracle Fusion Financials modules & spreadsheets.
  • Experience working within a project-centric industry, such as construction, is a bonus.
  • Knowledge in Oracle Data Migration.
