Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls, providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical and trend analysis, enabling informed business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Intuit Enterprise accounting software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines, with a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Preferred:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems and US Taxation.
  • Prior experience with mid-to-large-sized corporations, with a proven track record of success.
