Facilities Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance Coordination: Oversee and coordinate all repairs and maintenance activities across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring that all equipment, facilities, and systems are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations.
  2. Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities operate efficiently without interruptions.
  3. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all restaurants adhere to local health, safety, and fire regulations; conduct regular inspections and audits.
  4. Team Supervision: Manage, train, and schedule maintenance staff across different locations; coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
  5. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions for repairs and preventive work; monitor and order necessary supplies and replacement parts.
  6. Energy and Efficiency Management: Monitor and optimize utility consumption (energy, water, etc.), recommending sustainable and cost-saving measures.
  7. Emergency Response: Be on-call to respond to emergency maintenance needs, minimizing downtime and disruption to restaurant operations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team across multiple locations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in facility management.
  • Financial Planning: Budgeting and financial planning experience related to maintenance operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to managing issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to coordinate with restaurant managers, staff, and external contractors.
