Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team in Gujranwala, Pakistan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining effective health, safety and environmental management systems across the factory, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislations and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop HSE management system plans, ensuring all essential systems are implemented and effectively monitored.
  • Regularly update management on progress, identifying and eliminating hazards at their source.
  • Conduct EOSH risk assessments, control hazards with appropriate controls, and periodically update risk assessments.
  • Maintain inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring correct levels and testing where required.
  • Carry out studies in compliance with local legislations related to HSE and ensure maintenance of ISO certifications.
  • Lead and implement HSE projects, including cultural programs, and monitor progress to update management.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for plant departments on regulatory compliance issues in Safety, Health and Environment.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety standards, third-party contractors comply with company policies, and fire risks are prevented.
  • Manage fire protection and firefighting activities, conduct accident investigations, and prepare trend analysis reports.
  • Work closely with the Workplace Health Unit, develop training programs, and conduct EOSH training for plant staff.
