We are seeking a talented professional to deliver impactful marketing results. A self-starter with experience in developing informed points of view (POVs) and client recommendations to optimize marketing success across various disciplines.

This role requires collaboration with research, analytics, account management, and creative professionals under the supervision of a Chief Marketing Officer.

The successful candidate will have varied responsibilities in an entrepreneurial environment, including:

  • Providing strategic thought leadership and business acumen to clients within and beyond the communications process.
  • Leading the team strategically in all facets of current and prospective client business.
  • Crafting bullet-proof POVs that build client trust, respect, and relationships through a process-driven approach to strategy.
  • Being big picture and detail-oriented simultaneously, making day-to-day tactics as strategic as the next big idea.
  • Tracking competitive and marketplace activities, conducting competitive reviews, and identifying implications for the client.
  • Collaborating with the research team to define research objectives.
  • Analyzing research and data to develop presentations highlighting findings and insights that spark the creative development process and optimize marketing program results.
  • Creating informative, insightful, and inspiring creative briefs.
  • Researching and solving ad hoc problems such as how to execute XYZ or where to find information on ABC.
Key Requirements

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in an agency, client business, or portfolio school is preferred.
  • Digital planning experience is desirable.
  • Examples of experience using quantitative and qualitative research with the ability to find, summarize, and adapt insights across clients' marketing initiatives.
  • Concise written and verbal presentation skills and style, along with the ability to lead a room/remote audience through a presentation that influences and leads others to rally behind a great idea or point of view.
  • Left/right-mind capabilities, balancing detailed numbers-oriented thinking with what-if ideas.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Effective communication up, down, and across.
