As the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will lead multiple technical areas and oversee various departments. Collaborate across domains, applying expertise cross-functionally to promote the adoption and implementation of technical methods within diverse teams. Your role is crucial in helping the firm stay at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads technology implementations across departments to achieve firmwide objectives
  • Directly manages areas with strategic focus
  • Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
  • Acts as primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus across competing objectives
  • Manages complex projects and large collaborations
  • Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams
  • Champions diversity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts, including formal training or certification
  • 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items
  • Experience managing teams in complex environments
  • Demonstrated prior experience influencing organizations and delivering value at scale
  • Experience leading projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
  • Deep expertise building high-performance transactional environments with distributed systems and cloud technologies
  • Deep expertise with modern design patterns and industry best practices using enterprise technology
  • Experience hiring and developing talent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proactive problem spotting and performance improvement approach
  • Experience in Customer Identity & Authentication Domain
  • AWS Certification
  • SRE mindset: approaches to run production systems by creating engineering solutions to operational problems
  • Ability to program with one or more languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript
