Job Title: Deputy Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all equipment and infrastructure are well-maintained.
  • To promptly repair any damaged or faulty equipment to maintain production efficiency.
  • To plan, schedule, and execute the preventive maintenance program for plant and equipment.
  • To manage spare parts inventory effectively.
  • To improve existing equipment productivity through modifications, extensions, or low-cost new equipment.
  • To ensure proper operation of equipment for production and utility distribution.
  • To provide technical advice to management, production, purchasing, and R&D departments on machinery and spare parts acquisition, installation, and operation.
  • To implement environmental protection measures.
  • To train and motivate staff to prepare for jobs as required.
  • To delegate areas and responsibilities to subordinates, monitor their performance, and offer guidance when necessary.
  • To clarify department objectives and their relationship with overall company goals and communicate this to subordinates.
  • To promote positive discipline and working harmony in the department.
  • To communicate management instructions and policies to staff.
  • To evaluate subordinate performance and make recommendations.
  • To ensure strict adherence to safety rules within the department.
  • To approve leaves and authorize overtime according to company rules.
  • To maintain liaison with other divisions and departments for smooth company operations.
  • To organize training sessions for staff.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate Engineer in a relevant field with approximately 10 years of work experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC-based industrial machines, hydraulic and mechanical presses, welding machines, compressors, generators, pumps, etc.
    • Diploma holders with B-Tech having sound hands-on experience may also be considered.
