Job Title

Operate and Maintain Complex Building Systems with Precision.

i. Centrifugal, reciprocating, chiller systems and associated equipment are operated by you to ensure maximum efficiency.

Monitoring systems track performance in real-time, enabling timely adjustments to optimize output. Operating adjustments are performed to maintain peak efficiency, and engineering plant equipment is operated within optimal parameters.

b. Multi-System Operation: Effectively manage assigned systems and equipment to achieve optimal results. Examples of typical work activities include:

  1. Monitor network devices and respond to error messages promptly to verify system and network availability.
  2. Calibrate, adjust, and align equipment to prevent malfunctioning.
  3. Perform backup/recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
  4. Update alarm system messages regularly to inform team members of potential issues.
  5. Reset malfunctioning lines or connections efficiently to prevent further disruptions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date operations documentation and event logs to support decision-making.

Ensure all HVAC/Controls systems equipment and related components are properly maintained and serviced to prevent premature failure. Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, electric pneumatic, electronic, and direct digital software with precision.

Key Requirements

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; 3-5 years of HVAC maintenance experience; EPA license necessary. Trade School certificate preferred and may substitute for one year of the experience requirement.

2. Work experience must be related to HVAC mechanical controls and building systems, installation and service of building HVAC / Chilled Water and direct digital control systems. Maintain License currency with issuing authority.

3. Possess sufficient physical ability, strength, manual dexterity, and lifting ability (50 lbs over 20 feet) to handle equipment safely.
