Deputy Managing Director Job Description

This is a highly strategic and operational role that supports the Managing Director in achieving business objectives. The Deputy Managing Director Corporate Services will provide key support to the Managing Director and Operating Divisions.

  • The successful candidate will oversee diverse departments/divisions, including Procurement & Inventory management (Procurement & Stores), Management Services (Administration and Medical Services), Customer Services & Billing (Sales and Customer Relations), Information Technology, Corporate Communication & Legal Services.
  • They will participate in multiple Procurement Committees, review and approve purchases across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Planning: Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / targets synchronized with company objectives, monitor adherence of departments, ensure availability of adequate resources for optimum performance.
  • Financial Management: Assist in preparation of Annual Revenue and Capital Budgets of the Corporate Services Division, build a cost-effective culture in all departments.
  • Administrative Support: Provide standardized and cost-effective support services to all departments, including core business and operations of the Company.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management, accounting, law economics or engineering management from a reputable university or institution approved or accredited by HEC. Candidate with Master's degree will be preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification work experience with at least five (5) years in a senior management position in a leading multinational or corporate sector.

Job Requirements:
