Job Description:
The Program Engineer will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base. Key responsibilities include:
- Market research and customer outreach to identify new business opportunities.
- Preparing and delivering company presentations to potential clients.
- Leading sales enquiries and collaborating with internal teams to submit project proposals.
- Processing and monitoring quote requests from initial contact to proposal submission for management review.
- Preparing and submitting formalized quotations and proposals to customers.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Providing regular sales projections and forecasts.
- Collaborating with internal teams on new project development, ensuring seamless execution.
- Developing and maintaining assembly process instructions and test plans.
- Consolidating and analyzing assembly process evaluation or test reports.
- Ensuring all necessary parts and components are ready for assembly pilot runs.
- Maintaining up-to-date manufacturing process documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Liaising with cross-functional teams on assembly fixtures, tools, and equipment.
- Taking on additional projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in the plastic injection molding industry.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence when conducting presentations.
- Proactive negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.
- Able to follow up on sales accounts and maintain sales performance.
- Comfortable working in an East area location, specifically Changi South.
