  • Monitoring local and national newspapers, as well as radio and television programs, to identify items that may impact the company's image and overseeing the preparation and release of responses or rebuttals as needed.
  • Scheduling monthly visits to media houses or arranging meetings with anchorpersons and morning show hosts from various TV channels to foster positive relationships and ensure timely dissemination of accurate information about the company.
  • Ensuring the placement of all news and print publications in tier 1 and tier 2 newspapers, which is crucial for maintaining a strong public image.
  • Maintaining amicable professional relationships with the media fraternity to facilitate the efficient dissipation of correct information regarding the company.
  • Developing and maintaining liaison within the organization to act as a point of contact for public dealings.
  • Keeping track of cheques released against printed publications received by the Press Information Department.
  • Overseeing media coverage of internal and external events to portray a positive image of the organization.
  • Maintaining close liaison with the media monitoring agency hired for tracking company/industry-related news/advertisements.
  • Facilitating liaison with respective departments to receive relevant data/information for publications.
  • Recommending changes to publications for easier readability, ensuring they adhere to guidelines, and submitting draft designs to supervisors for review and further processing.
  • Supporting the development of a communication strategy aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  • Securing strategic media placements to enhance corporate reputation and business goals.
