Are you a highly motivated Sales Engineer with a passion for cybersecurity looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales within the cybersecurity industry. They will be responsible for collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose relevant cybersecurity solutions. Additionally, they will provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept presentations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose relevant cybersecurity solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept presentations.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, solution briefs, and proposals to potential clients.
- Assist in responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFIs (Requests for Information) by providing technical expertise.
- Work closely with clients to assess their cybersecurity posture and recommend suitable solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to provide informed guidance to customers.
- Act as a bridge between the sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure the successful deployment of solutions.
- Support post-sales activities by providing customer training and resolving technical queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical pre-sales within the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, solutions, and technologies such as SIEM, endpoint security, network security, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with security vendors and products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are a plus.
