Project Lead for Software Development Initiatives

Bachelor's or Master's degree in software, computer technology, computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related field is essential.

Measuring and practicing clinical psychology is our core focus at Mensio Mental Health. We empower patients to track and monitor their mental health more effectively. Our objective is to help patients and clients make informed decisions about their well-being.

We are seeking a dedicated Project Lead to join our team. This role will involve working with our remote team to ensure seamless software development for therapists, patients, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have experience managing development projects in a software development environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the discovery, planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of multiple software platforms/projects.
  • Maintain clear project plans and timelines based on guidance from patients, clients, and Dr. Armstrong.
  • Oversee front-end and back-end software development using modern agile methodology.
  • Support software developers by removing obstacles, improving workflow, and providing timely feedback.
  • Advocate and enforce best engineering practices, design principles, coding standards, and drive high-quality results throughout the software development lifecycle.

Job Specifications:

  • Certification or relevant training in Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a software-related field; relevant work experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development project management with a proven track record.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Exposure to full life cycle software development, including initial discovery, writing software proposals, and ongoing software maintenance.
  • Practical experience with software engineering best practices and coding standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Six Sigma Knowledge/certification or equivalent is considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of at least one project management platform (e.g., MS Project).
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent is a plus.
