Project Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering project outcomes, creating status reports, and developing effective communication plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create project timelines and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, schedule meetings, track risks, and monitor progress to ensure projects are executed as planned.
Team Leadership:
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, communicate project status, facilitate team communication, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Run daily scrums and sprint meetings, maintain the backlog, and update all tickets.
  • Ensure required features are produced and reviewed, including requirements management, design, implementation, integration, verification, testing, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution.
  • Resolve conflicts and communicate issues to leadership while demonstrating decision-making competencies.
Quality Assurance:
  • Evaluate projects against quality standards, conduct quality control checks, and review/approve deliverables before final submission.
Strategic Oversight:
  • Monitor project budgets, identify cost overruns, and collaborate with team members to implement cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties meet project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meet with team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submit project deliverables that meet quality standards.
  • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Develop user manuals, training materials, and other necessary documents to ensure successful project implementation and client handover.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in IT; a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
  • 7-10 years of experience in project management.
  • Expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET & MVC, LINQ, Angular/Angular JS, Web Services, WCF/XML/Web API development, and Dynamic Websites.
  • 5+ years of experience in the IT Healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Experience with OOP, SDLC, patterns, and practices in multi-tenant systems.
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and drive them to completion.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
