Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant role involves preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and reconciling balances. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to accurately reflect company transactions
  • Maintain general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Reconcile bank statements to identify any discrepancies or errors
  • Process invoices and track actual financial performance against budgeted amounts
  • Analyze discrepancies and provide comprehensive support for internal and external audits

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a chartered holder or equivalent qualification, with at least 3 years of working experience in financial reporting and analysis. A strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAPs is essential, as well as hands-on experience with various financial tools.
