Job Title: Grants Financial Reporting Specialist

The position involves handling various grant-related financial tasks, including processing claims in SAP, preparing budget utilisation reports, and maintaining accurate records.

This role requires the ability to coordinate efficiently, manage finances effectively, and maintain strong organisational skills to ensure smooth financial management of grants.

To be successful, you will need to possess excellent analytical skills, have experience with SAP, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. You should also have effective communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

You will be responsible for tracking expenses, following up with individuals who have made advances, and ensuring all related documents are completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Claims Processing: Enter claims in SAP based on claim forms provided by coordinators for grant-related expenses.
  2. Grant Management Support: Assist in preparing BURs (Budget Utilisation Reports) for internal grants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  3. Documentation Assistance: Compile and complete required documents for any grant as requested.
  4. Expense Tracking & Follow-Ups: Track and follow up with individuals who have made advances, ensuring they adjust them quarterly and record related expenses in SAP accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. SAP Proficiency: Experience in entering and managing financial transactions in SAP.
  2. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities and strong grasp of MS Excel.
  3. Communication: Effective interpersonal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  4. Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Qualifications:
  1. At least Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
