Clothing Production Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Clothing Production Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality garments are produced while maintaining efficiency and productivity standards.

Job Description:
  • Evaluate vendor facilities and capabilities before proceeding with sample production.
  • Guide and monitor technical teams to maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Closely follow up with merchandisers for new development samples and review potential risk factors, particularly for youth wear products.
  • Gauge and track laundry processes, including chemical application, liquor ratio, washer temperature, and cycle length, in compliance with wash recipes.
  • Coordinate with Wash Technicians to educate and implement shade band/1st batch procedures with makers and laundries, ensuring matching requirements before approval.
  • Provide technical training and support to makers' teams to introduce and update sample handling SOPs and timeframes.
  • Review and provide comments on performance appraisals of subordinates.
  • Support communication and facilitate issue resolution during bulk production with merchandising and quality management teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of garment fitting, patterns, and relevant software.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to follow LWR SOPs.
  • Able to work independently and act proactively.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Effective communication skills with internal functions and vendor merchandising teams.
  • 'Can-do' attitude.
  • English and local language fluency in both oral and written forms.

Academic Qualifications:

Graduate from a reputable university, preferably with a background in Textile/Apparel or a specialized textile university.
