Key Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of technical materials, proofreading and editing content to ensure accuracy and consistency. They will also assist with industry trade shows by representing the products they manage and serving as a strategic and technical advisor to the sales team.

Key areas of focus include creating and maintaining accurate technical overviews, specifications, and documentation for products and solutions. This involves testing Dahua and competitor camera features to create compelling marketing messages that demonstrate the value of Dahua products.

  1. Develop and deliver high-quality technical materials that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.
  2. Represent the company at industry trade shows and events, showcasing products and services.
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team, providing expert guidance and support on customer requirements and solution capabilities.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for products and solutions, including technical overviews, specifications, and product information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, sales support, sales engineering, or product marketing within the video surveillance industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of higher-end CCTV equipment, including Storage, Transmission, Intercom, and Access Control systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Adobe products such as video editing/creation, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience testing products against competitors to develop effective marketing initiatives.
