App Store Optimization & Digital Marketing Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced App Store Optimization & Digital Marketing Manager to lead our ASO practice and drive organic app growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving app rankings, maximizing downloads, and driving app store traffic.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute ASO strategies for our app on App Store and Google Play
  • Create and optimize app store listings, including writing compelling descriptions and selecting high-quality screenshots
  • Monitor app performance metrics, such as downloads, rankings, and user ratings, to identify growth opportunities
  • Analyze the apps' performance using tools like Sensor Tower, App Annie, and Mobile Action
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ASO strategies align with broader business goals
  • Stay up-to-date on app store algorithms, policies, and trends to maintain competitive advantages
  • Manage reviews and feedback, searching and utilizing trending keywords
  • Track, analyze, research, and optimize keywords and rankings for our brand
  • Audit and analysis performance, identify issues, finding root-causes, and experimenting with solutions to improve performance at scale

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field
  • At least 10 years of ASO, app marketing experience & growth strategies
  • Proven experience in ASO with a portfolio of successful app optimization projects
  • Strong knowledge of app store algorithms, policies, and ranking factors for Google Play and Apple App Store
  • Proficiency in ASO tools like Sensor Tower, App Annie, Mobile Action, and TheTool
  • Expertise in keyword research and tracking tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Experience in designing and optimizing app store creatives (screenshots, icons, and promo videos)
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools for app stores (e.g., SplitMetrics, StoreMaven)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret app performance data and make data-driven decisions
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in an autonomous environment
