**Job Title:** Director of Project Development

Key Responsibilities:

As the Director of Project Development, you will be responsible for both strategic leadership and operational excellence. You will oversee project execution from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are met.

You will also identify project-specific and long-term resource needs, drive recruitment efforts, onboarding, and team structuring, and develop and implement continuous training plans tailored to technical and soft skill development.

Additionally, you will ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence in all technical deliverables, establish internal quality review mechanisms for documentation and project outputs, and lead high-level interactions with client senior management and C-suite executives.

Your role will also involve actively participating in shaping the company's strategy and direction, collaborating with other department heads to align technical excellence with business development, innovation, and growth, and contributing to internal process improvement and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems, Energy Management, or Clean Energy. You will also have certifications such as Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), LEED AP, PMP, or similar.

You will have 8+ years of progressive experience in energy consulting or engineering, a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects, and prior experience in client-facing roles, ideally with exposure to C&I sector stakeholders.

Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on delivery excellence and innovation.
