We're seeking a proactive and dynamic professional to join our team as a Sustainability Business Development Executive.

This role will focus on identifying opportunities, developing leads, preparing proposals, and actively engaging clients to promote sustainability-related certifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sciences, business development, and communication skills. They should be able to understand technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies for sustainability certifications and services.
  • Identify and pursue new clients in the ESG, sustainability, and environment-related sectors.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with the certification and technical teams.
  • Follow up with potential clients through calls, emails, and meetings to generate leads and close deals.
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and client feedback to refine service offerings.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal teams (certification, technical, training) to ensure service delivery alignment.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospects, leads, and client interactions via CRM tools.
  • Support in organizing awareness seminars, webinars, and client engagement activities.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to build brand visibility with reference to Sustainability Certification and Services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, preferably in sustainability, certification, and environmental management.
  • Strong communication and proposal writing skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards is a strong plus.
