Sales Executive for Food Industry

The role of a Sales Executive for the food industry involves driving sales growth, developing and maintaining client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is energetic and has an appetite for work and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To meet monthly sales targets assigned by the Business Unit Head (BUH) - Local Territory Coordination (LTC).
  • Sales Inquiry generation as per TUVAT BIC's company handbook policy.
  • Dispatching only approved Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and Halal food certification proposals and contract agreements to clients.
  • Meeting deadlines and business objectives set by the BUH - LTC.
  • Maintaining compliance with all TUVAT BIC policies and procedures, including information security policy.
  • Developing and designing annual sales plans to target the food industry for the assigned region.
  • Administering a sales database that includes client-related information, mailing lists, client contact details, etc., related to the food industry.
  • Keeping accurate and transparent inquiry logs at all times.
  • Approaching potential clients through introductory letters, phone calls, social media networks, personal contacts, yellow pages, chamber of commerce, associations, etc.
  • Maintaining an inquiry log of such activities.
  • Developing and maintaining contacts and records of potential clients interested in food certification in the future.
  • Preparing and submitting preliminary documentation, such as inquiry forms, proposals, and contract agreements.
  • Issuing invoices to clients for initial advances.
  • Sending introductory packs.
  • Recording all above activities.
  • Exceeding sales budgets and targets.
  • Identifying potential companies and contacting prospective clients to sell TUVAT BIC International's certification services.
  • Adopting effective sales letter writing and telemarketing techniques as inquiry-generating tools.
  • Maintaining healthy business relationships with business specialists within the assigned region.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated and energetic individual with a huge appetite for work and growth.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
