Head Of Fabrication

The position of Head of Fabrication involves overseeing the fabrication process from product design to delivery. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in the heavy equipment industry, preferably with backgrounds from Japan, China, or Korea.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop products in line with marketing department requirements and customer specifications.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and bills of material for cost-effective product development.
  • Lead the fabrication of prototypes for approved contracts and tenders.
  • Implement cost-saving measures through strategic product design.
  • Coordinate with procurement and research departments to select localised or outsourced parts.
  • Develop dies, jigs, and fixtures for in-house part production.
  • Plan, organize, and control manufacturing processes to meet customer demands.
  • Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and underutilization.
  • Select suitable machines, tools, and materials for approved products.
  • Provide guidelines to ensure smooth development and design changes.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to maintain high-quality parts.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in optimal condition to ensure uninterrupted use.
  • Research and prepare new model parts and their duty structures in accordance with government regulations.
