Design and configure enterprise-grade JSM solutions as a seasoned IT Service Management professional. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement ITSM workflows in JSM based on business needs and ITIL standards.
  • Translate client requirements into efficient and effective JSM solutions.
  • Lead the configuration of service request catalogs, SLAs, automation rules, queues, and custom fields.
  • Integrate Jira with other enterprise systems to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
  • Perform health checks and conduct maturity assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as subject matter expert during Jira-related discussions with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and security requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including solution architecture diagrams.
  • Train and mentor admin teams and end-users on JSM features and best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Jira administration/architecture, with at least 2 years focused on Jira Service Management.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL standards.
  • Experience implementing and customizing workflows, automation, and SLA configurations in Jira.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace add-ons like Insight, ScriptRunner, and Tempo.
  • Experience with Jira REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.

A deep understanding of Atlassian tools, ITIL practices, and enterprise architecture principles is highly valued. Additionally, hands-on experience with Confluence, Bitbucket, or Opsgenie, and cloud/on-premises Jira environments would be an asset.
