Merchandise and Brand Development Specialist

The role of the Merchandising and Marketing Manager is to oversee the entire merchandising process from start to shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive team processes for expedited delivery.
- Develop new business opportunities and promote with Buyers.
- Acquire new customers and maintain existing client base.
- Coordinate production team for timely shipments.
- Work with planning manager for delivery schedules and production sequences.
- Have in-depth knowledge of fabrics, PPC, trims, and accessories.
- Ensure smooth communication with Buyers locally and internationally.
- Prepare costing sheets and price knit garments.
- Conduct sales forecasting, market analysis, and identify new markets and buyers.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for brand awareness and sales revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Plan and execute marketing plans for segmentation, targeting, and approach planning.
- Establish a long-range plan for capacity and business growth.
- Handle product development, trend analysis, fashion forecasting, and sustainable material sourcing.
- Ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and production follow-up.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 years of experience in knitted garments industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Travel may be required for business purposes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic software used in the industry.
