Community Mobilization Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support partner organizations in developing effective community mobilization strategies, ensuring efficient planning, delivery, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop institutionalized community participation components of the community mobilization strategy, driving engagement and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with grants and community financing programs, education activities, and local health worker development to enhance community-based initiatives.
  • Implement behavior change communication strategies to promote healthy behaviors and practices.
  • Design and implement programs and materials that foster community-led activities for improved health outcomes.
  • Support project teams and government counterparts in establishing strong linkages with communities to improve healthcare services.
  • Enhance the capacity of communities and community-based organizations to drive development and better health outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Development Studies, Community Development, Anthropology, Development Communication, or Gender and Development.
  • At least 7 years experience in community mobilization, community development, or social communication.
  • 4 years experience in managing community mobilization initiatives for health.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • 3 years practice in community development.
  • Strong interpersonal, managerial, team-building, presentation, and facilitation skills with a focus on gender and development.
