Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a crucial role in our team's accounting functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including statutory accounts preparation, VAT return handling, and bookkeeping using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, VT, and Excel. Additionally, managing a small team and training ACA/ACCA trainees.

  • Prepare accurate and timely statutory accounts for limited companies under UK GAAP, FRS 102/105.
  • Efficiently handle VAT return preparation and bookkeeping using QuickBooks, Xero, VT, and Excel.
  • Draft clear and concise letters and emails for clients, ensuring effective communication.
  • Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns for clients.
  • Handle partnership accounts, including LLP (Limited Liability Partnership).
  • Analyse financial data and provide insightful reports to directors, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in tax planning to maximise clients' financial benefits.
  • Support in the computation of capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
  • Prepare sole trader accounts and their respective tax returns.
  • Maintain accurate ledger records and schedules for all accounts.
