Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Leader to oversee and manage our financial activities.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and bookkeeping.
  • Hands-on experience with US tax regulations and accounting principles is essential.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of driving financial strategy to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable:

  1. Manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  2. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  3. Monitor cash flow and manage collections to maintain healthy financial operations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  1. Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for various departments and projects.
  2. Prepare financial forecasts and reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  3. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.

Invoicing:

  1. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  2. Monitor and track outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
  3. Implement and maintain invoicing procedures to enhance efficiency.
  4. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

US Taxes & Accounting:

  1. Handle all aspects of US tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns.
  2. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  3. Provide guidance on tax planning and strategy to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities.

Team Management:

  1. Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  2. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Operations Leader or similar role with expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and bookkeeping.
  • Hands-on experience with US tax regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
