Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of textile goods to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with sourcing and production teams to ensure product consistency across different vendors and factories.
  • Develop and enforce quality control protocols and documentation for suppliers and internal teams.
  • Monitor third-party inspection reports and provide feedback or corrective action plans where needed.
  • Evaluate supplier facilities for compliance with quality standards, including ISO, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, or other relevant certifications.
  • Manage lab testing processes in collaboration with testing labs.
  • Track and report non-conformance issues and work with suppliers on root cause analysis and CAPA.
  • Work with the sourcing team to onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet QA requirements before production begins.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 25 years of experience in quality control/assurance in the textile industry, preferably in sourcing or buying offices.
  • Strong understanding of textile construction, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with AQL standards, international testing protocols, and compliance norms.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for factory audits and inspections.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with international clients and export buyers.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or QA management systems.
