Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remedial Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with specialists, families, and management to ensure each student's unique academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Processing difficulties, and developmental delays. Fluency in English with a solid grasp of phonology and educational assessments is also essential.

This role requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Linguistics, or a related field. A nimble and adaptive approach, combined with compassion and collaboration, is crucial for success in this position.

In addition to providing direct instruction and designing strategies for students with special needs, the successful candidate will be responsible for administering student induction evaluations, modifying curriculum to meet student learning styles and abilities, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
