IT Leader

The role of Executive IT BSS Planning and Implementation is crucial in driving the development of next-generation Business Support Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• To conduct a thorough review of the current technology stack and plan for the timely integration of new technical layers aligned with business objectives.
• Provide transparent and accurate project status updates throughout different phases, including development, system testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and go-live.
• Responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions, designing products, and developing BSS applications.
• Evaluate the business value of new features and technologies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, and vendor teams to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on change management to facilitate smooth adoption by business users.
• Support the execution of minor development requirements for reporting purposes.
• Perform assigned duties diligently and conscientiously as requested.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Agile/SCRUM Certification is preferred.

Work Experience:

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in IT planning and product implementation within the BSS stack.

Technical Requirements:

• Familiarity with the BSS stack, specifically OCS, CRM, Settlement, Mediation, Commission, Channel, and Inventory systems.
• Able to oversee Change Delivery, Development, and Implementation.
• Can define technical evaluation criteria for products and technologies and ensure coherent systems design.
• Develop best-fit software architectures like Review Business, Information/Data, Application, and Technology Architectures & Evaluate Technologies inducted in the BSS stack ecosystem.
• Makes recommendations for optimum architecture, performance management, environment stabilization, and disaster recovery in complex environments.
• Manages planning, continuous integration, data migration, and development teams in functional and matrix structures.
• Manages scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables of BSS stack services stream Releases, which includes planning, tracking, change control, and risk management of projects.
• Ensures application architecture deliverables are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Drives excellence in customer satisfaction, process quality, and product reliability.
