Program Development Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Development, or a Ph.D. with a focus on this area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to lead the development and implementation of new programs, including writing proposals and managing resources effectively.
  2. A strong communicator, you will liaison with stakeholders such as donors, government officials, community members, media representatives, and parliamentarians to secure support and gather input for program enhancement.
  3. You will play a crucial role in planning program delivery, aligning it with strategic goals and objectives.
  4. Develop innovative initiatives to support the organization's mission and direction.
  5. Establish long-term objectives to ensure successful program outcomes and continuous service delivery.
  6. Design a program evaluation framework to assess strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Create funding proposals to maintain operational sustainability.
  8. E nsure all program activities operate within organizational policies and procedures.
  9. Comply with relevant legislation and professional standards.
  10. Supervise program staff, providing guidance, input, and feedback to enhance performance.
  11. Foster communication with stakeholders to secure community support and gather input for program enhancement.
  12. C coordinate service delivery among various program activities to boost effectiveness and efficiency.
  13. IDentify and evaluate risks associated with program activities, taking appropriate action to mitigate them.
  14. Regularly monitor program activities and conduct annual evaluations using the program evaluation framework.
  15. Present evaluation findings to management and recommend changes to enhance the program, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate exceptional expertise in program management, leadership, and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Project Management software is essential.
  • Strong communication, creativity, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are also required.
