Job Description

This is a challenging role for an experienced professional who will provide support to the National Programme Manager in managing the day-to-day programme implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of project activities, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and consistency of work.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a client-oriented approach, tact, and ability to work with people of different cultural backgrounds. S/he will work in close collaboration with other project colleagues as well as with government officials, technical advisors, experts, donors, and civil society organizations to successfully implement the activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure administration and implementation of Programme activities;
  • Support the NPM in drafting, analysis, and summarizing of proposals on thematic areas;
  • Carry out implementation of assigned tasks and activities and submits specific deliverables assigned by the Programme Manager on a quarterly basis;
  • Provide effective support and contributes to the efficient management of the Programme;
  • Advise and support the NPM in efficient and effective donor and stakeholder coordination;
  • Contribute to knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the project focusing on achievement of results.
