We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead our sales efforts for solar energy solutions within the solar energy sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and managing the sales process for solar energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Opportunity Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies for corporate and distribution channels, focusing on solar projects.
- Client Relationship Building: Identify and target corporate clients, distributors, and partners for solar energy solutions, focusing on business growth and market expansion.
- Account Growth: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Sales Process Improvement: Oversee the sales process for solar projects, including product presentation, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by driving revenue through corporate and distribution sales.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and market conditions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in corporate and distribution sales, with a strong background in solar energy projects.
- Solid understanding of solar energy solutions, distribution channels, and corporate sales dynamics.
- Strong ability to drive sales processes, close deals, and manage key accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with high-level corporate clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and project challenges.
- Ability to travel between locations as required for client meetings and business development activities.
