This is a challenging opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain CI workflows, optimize processes, containerize applications, and collaborate with testing and software teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance Continuous Integration workflows and Jenkins pipeline libraries.
  • Identify improvements in CI workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Containerize application builds using Docker or similar technologies.
  • Collaborate with SW/Test teams to understand requirements and deliver dev-infra solutions.
  • Provide support for issues related to tools and CI workflows, including analysis and root cause determination.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience with Python and git, as well as proficiency with Git, Gerrit, GitHub, and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.

The successful candidate will also have extensive Linux experience, particularly in RPM build development, and knowledge of containerization, Makefiles, and continuous integration practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in DevOps software engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Python and git.
  • Exposure to Shell, Groovy, C++, and REST APIs is preferable.
  • Proficiency with Git, Gerrit, GitHub, and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.
  • Extensive Linux experience, particularly in RPM build development.
  • Knowledge of containerization, Makefiles, and continuous integration practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with relevant work experience, is required. Additionally, 2+ years of programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, etc., is necessary.

Qualifications: Bachelor's (3+ years), Master's (2+ years), or PhD (1+ year) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with relevant work experience. Also, 2+ years of programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
