General Summary:

This role involves developing and maintaining CI workflows, optimizing processes, containerizing applications, and collaborating with testing and software teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and enhance Continuous Integration workflows and Jenkins pipeline libraries.
  2. Identify improvements in CI workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
  3. Containerize application builds using Docker or similar technologies.
  4. Collaborate with SW/Test teams to understand requirements and deliver dev-infra solutions.
  5. Provide support for issues related to tools and CI workflows, including analysis and root cause determination.
Skills:
  • 4-6 years of experience in DevOps software engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Python and git.
  • Exposure to Shell, Groovy, C++, and REST APIs is preferable.
  • Proficiency with Git, Gerrit, GitHub, and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.
  • Extensive Linux experience, particularly in RPM build development.
  • Knowledge of containerization, Makefiles, and continuous integration practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Minimum Qualifications:

Degree requirements vary: Bachelor's (3+ years), Master's (2+ years), or PhD (1+ year) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, with relevant work experience. Also, 2+ years of programming experience in C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
