Inclusive Education and Accessibility Manager

A leading institution is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Team Lead Academic Accommodations and Accessibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operationalizing the commitment to providing support to students with disabilities, collaborating with stakeholders across campus, and implementing plans to make the experience more inclusive for students and staff.
About the Role:- This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of accessibility policies, procedures, and best practices.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing practices, services, and policies related to academic accommodations and accessibility.
- This role involves working closely with students, faculty, and staff to provide support and guidance on accessibility-related matters.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will be required to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams.
- The selected candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, analyzing data, and reporting on the effectiveness of accommodations.
- Additionally, the role involves reviewing and evaluating assistive technologies and research to identify learning alternatives for students with disabilities.
- Developing and delivering awareness campaigns, workshops, and training programs is another critical aspect of this role.
- Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.
- Relevant bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in educational settings.
- Strong understanding of MS Office Suite and research fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing circumstances.
