Employee Relations Manager

The Regional Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for overseeing and enhancing employee relations across field offices within the region. This role focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving disputes, managing investigations, and delivering effective training programs. The position ensures alignment with organizational standards, local labor laws, and policies to maintain compliance and promote fairness across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive workplace culture through proactive engagement with employees, management teams, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to address employee concerns, resolve disputes, and manage investigations in a fair and timely manner.
- Collaborate with HR teams to deliver effective training programs that enhance employee knowledge and skills.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, local labor laws, and donor requirements across all employee relations practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the INGO sector.
- Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving disputes.
- Strong ability to interpret regional labor laws and employment practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and integrity.
