Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with patients through empathetic phone calls and text messages, promptly addressing their concerns and resolving queries efficiently.
- Manage patient intake processes with meticulous attention to detail, scheduling appointments accurately and maintaining organized records.
- Accurately maintain electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
- Verify benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and manage health insurance claims via phone and online platforms.
- Collaborate with pharmacies and labs to facilitate prescription refills and lab orders, ensuring timely delivery of essential services.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, upholding the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality throughout your tasks.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in MBBS, BDS, or Public Health.
- Possess at least 2 years of work experience as a medical professional, Medical Billing specialist, or Virtual Assistant.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and Zoom tools.
- Ensure a minimum internet speed of 40 MBPS fiber connection and 4G portable internet as a backup.
- Display familiarity with medical terminology and patient care protocols.
- Be equipped with a laptop and headset for training purposes.
