About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Expert. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of securing new business leads and driving growth through strategic bidding and persuasive communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling job proposals that showcase a deep understanding of client needs and project requirements.
  • Proactively secure new business leads through strategic bidding and persuasive communication.
  • Stay informed about Upwork policies and ensure compliance in all interactions with clients.
  • Assess project requirements, conduct competitive analyses, and devise effective pricing strategies for successful bids.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, presenting our portfolio and success stories to emphasize our expertise.
  • Utilize persuasive skills to convert potential clients into secured project contracts.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and exploring opportunities for long-term collaboration.
  • Maintain an optimized Upwork profile with positive client reviews and adherence to platform best practices.

Requirements:

  • More than 1 year of experience in Upwork/freelancing and project acquisition.
  • Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder with a track record of securing projects.
  • Knowledge of Upwork policies, procedures, and best practices for effective bidding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing project requirements, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
