Professional Interpreter Needed

We are seeking a skilled interpreter to work with individuals using legal, health, and local government services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in multiple languages, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves listening to, understanding, and memorizing content in the original language, then reproducing it into the target language with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services
- Check non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Deal with highly confidential information
- Liaise between the service user and service provider
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Fluent in English or another language
- BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
- Any other interpreting related qualification
- Hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest
- Sign and agree to a surety bond
- Sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
This position offers training and development in interpreting and translation, hands-on experience working in live interpretation settings, mentorship from experienced linguists, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by bridging language gaps in critical public service environments.
Work ArrangementThis is an onsite job located in DHA Sector F Rawalpindi.
