Software Quality Assurance Specialist

This role involves working on testing software applications and systems to ensure they meet customer requirements.

  • Perform tests on software applications to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensure the software meets customer specifications
  • Generate test cases and test scripts to execute testing procedures
  • Report identified bugs through a designated system and ensure they are resolved
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that previously resolved issues do not reoccur
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation
  • Participate in the test planning and estimation process
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including plans, cases, and data
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, experience with test case design and execution, and excellent communication skills.
