
Technical Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Development Specialist to play a pivotal role in our sales process. As a trusted technical and business advisor, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, propose tailored IT solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
Main Responsibilities:- Analyze customer needs and design customized IT solutions that align with their business objectives, incorporating expertise in networking, storage, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals, bids, and presentations that effectively communicate solution benefits.
- Develop and present solution architecture diagrams, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and cost estimates to stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and clients, highlighting key features and capabilities.
- Assist in crafting RFP/RFQ responses and ensure alignment with customer needs through open communication.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product/service improvement based on client feedback.
- Engage with customers to understand their IT environment and pain points, positioning our products and services as effective solutions.
- Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by demonstrating technical expertise and thought leadership.
- Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with vendors and OEMs for solution validations and technical support, driving mutual success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings, applying this knowledge to drive business results.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our product and service portfolio, using this expertise to inform solution development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, providing a solid foundation for technical work.
- 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution architect, or technical sales role, preferably in an IT firm, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of IT solutions, including networking, storage, cloud services, servers, virtualization, and cybersecurity, with a focus on practical application.
- Experience with OEMs like Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, VMware, and Fortinet is highly valued, with opportunities to develop expertise.
- Familiarity with solution design tools and platforms enables efficient solution development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and solution promotion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, applied to drive business outcomes and solve complex challenges.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits, showcasing value and driving decision-making.
- Vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, or similar, demonstrating technical expertise and commitment to professional development.
