Business Intelligence Solutions Specialist

The Business Intelligence Resource is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform raw data into meaningful and actionable insights. This role involves data collection, integration, visualization, and analysis to support informed decision-making across the organization.

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and gather requirements from business units.
  • Translate complex data into clear and concise insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with database administrators and IT teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
  • Maintain documentation for data sources, transformation logic, and reporting processes.
  • Work closely with business departments to deliver relevant KPIs and performance reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools: Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence development, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Exposure to large datasets and multiple data source integrations.
